The off-season for a serious whitetail hunter can be a grim time of year. Long days and hot temperatures push the mind longingly back to crisp fall mornings and big bucks, despite deer season still being many weeks away. It’s a deer hunters version of the “summer blues,” if you will.
In an attempt to satisfy these longings, some revisit trail camera photos from years past and look to the season ahead, while others try filling their time with other season-appropriate activities. But if you’re in the area of Cambridge, Ohio, there’s a place where all blue whitetail junkies can get their fix.
