Sunday hunting bill clears Pennsylvania Senate, amended version heads to House

In the span of seven days, proposals to lift the longstanding prohibition on Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania passed the state House and Senate, but has another legislative hurdle to clear.
Senate Bill 67 passed 33-17 on July 3, and it expands on legislation passed in 2019 that authorized three Sundays to be open for hunting, designated annually by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
