Steve Carney: Condition your crawlers for better walleye fishing
As we slide through the month of July, nightcrawlers on live-bait rigs are now replacing minnows as the primary bait for walleyes.
Not all crawlers are created equal, and there are things you can do to enhance the effectiveness of these amazing baits and turn them into “super crawlers!”
Here are some tips that have worked for me over the years.
