There are more than 22 million concealed carry permit holders in the United States. Compared to the 2.7 million in 1999, it’s clear that new laws allowing citizens to more easily carry weapons for personal protection have created a huge demand for pistols and accessories.
There has been ample debate over what is the perfect carry handgun and caliber, but it comes down to personal preference. The most popular caliber likely is the 9 mm, but the .45 would be a close second, followed by the .380.
A round that has gained in popularity during the past two years is one that Federal designed for the person who prefers a round in the range of a .380 or 9mm. The relatively new release is the .30 Super Carry.
